What trading platform let me short naked options?
I want to short calls and puts like I short stocks.I am not interested in selling the calls and puts because I have to own the stock which I do not want to.It is named schort naked options.Thank you.

Options can not be borrowed, brokers can not have a "fail" on options, yu can not margin options, therefore you can not legally short them as you do equities and/or fixed income’s.
You can have naked options and depending on the type of account you have, all major firms will permit you to carry such positions as long as they are properly collateralized

(1) If you qualify and (2) have a margin account, most brokerages will allow you to short (sell) puts and calls up to your margin qualification.
(For example, if you are worth $100,000, no brokerage is going to let you open a million dollar short position in anything…)

All brokerages let you open nake short option positions AS LONG AS margin requirement is met, (which is often much higher than opening long positions, as there’s simply a larger risk involved).
Btw, brokerages don’t generally distinguish between opening "naked" or "covered" short positions.

ThinkOrSwim is one (and I think the best). I even sell naked puts in my ROTH IRA with them (a naked call sale must be done in a margin account).
You sound like you’re years away from having the skills to do this….. good luck! You can destroy your account very quickly doing this.
