What is stock market pre-open..? and does it impact the currency market?
I am trying to analyze the currency movement vs. stock market open and close prices. I don’t have any idea about pre-open.., and big markets like wall street, All Ord.., have pre-opens.., can anyone please explain what is preopen.., and any place where we can get the real time preopen prices
As an individual you normally cannot trade stocks out of hours, that is the reserve of the banks and hedge funds off this world – unless you want use a spreadbetting account as a vehicle, not advisable because liquidity is so thin out of hours. FX is 24 hours, so you can quite easily trade in the run up to market closes around the world.

What Does Pre-Market Mean?
Trading done before the regular market opens.
Investopedia explains Pre-Market
Participation by market makers and ECNs is voluntary, so in pre-market trading there may be less liquidity than during normal hours of trading. If you are trading in pre-market or after-hours, you should always use a limit order.
CNBC.com gives the pre-market data
