-based on fees, service, popularity

I’ve been using them for few years and didn’t really have any problem.
What I like about them is no requote and the spreads are not too bad.
I also like the platform.

Where do I trade or exchange foreign currency?

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011

I have some Euro coins and a 100 Danish krones bill. I search all over the Internet, but I couldn’t find anything that I was looking for. Most of the stuff was business related, but I’m not even old enough to drive a car yet. Can you help me with this? Oh, and can I just go to the post office (I live in the US so I’m not sure)?

Look for a "foreign exchange office" in your city. Google and/or phone book.
I doubt they will take coins. 100 Danish Krone bill is worth close to 20 USD,
at the current rate (xe.com) but expect them to take some as comission esp
as it is more than likely not a currency they have much demand for. What you
may want to consider is trying to sell the Euro coins on craigslist and/or ebay.

Is the Forex Foreign Currency Exchange Course worthwhile, or a waste of money?

Sunday, May 29th, 2011

Is it worth spending $5000 on the Forex course to trade Foreign Currency, plus the $5000 towards a trading account, or is it a scam & waste of money?

If you have $10,000 risk capital and plan on spending 50% on a course, and 50% of it in a trading account, then that trading course better be really good. Most trading courses are not.

It would probably be a better idea if you traded that $5,000 with low risk per trade until you understood more of what it takes to be a profitable trader.

Then you can spend a few weeks or months finding out that perfect trading course, or doing your due diligence on the trading products that may be for you.

what is a foreign exchange trade?

Friday, May 27th, 2011

Depends on if your question is relating to trading the actual currencies, or trading the exchange rate of the currencies. I figure if it is worded as "foreign exchange" then it might be talking about trading one currency for another. If it was called Forex (which is short for Foreign Exchange), then I would say that it is talking about buying or selling the exchange rate between two currencies. For example, the currency exchange rate between Euro and US Dollar is 1.48 USD. I can trade that 1.48 just like trading a stock market, with the hopes that it would go up or down. That’s called the Forex. The Forex is the largest traded market in the world, and as I said, it’s short for Foreign Exchange. But usually if someone means Forex they say Forex, so if they said Foreign Exchange then they probably mean the trading of one currency for another.

Can you offer advice on foreign exchange?

Sunday, March 13th, 2011

I’ve been playing around with the fun money on ExpressFX from this site:

http://www.fxclub.com/expressfx

It’s definitely compelling to invest real money towards foreign exchange trading, but I would feel more comfortable with some advce from those who have tried it.

Some questions I have:

Can the value of currency ever fall to 0 like shares in a stock market?

Can I ever end up owing more than I have invested? (I wouldn’t think this is possible).

Are there any other programs or companies that are like or better than Express FX?

A foreign currency can collapse to zero. The US dollar could theoretically but if it did it would drag the global economy down with it. Its a miserable time to be in currency exchange as an investment.

People often think that in order to become an investor you need a lot of capital to make it worth your while, and believe me, nothing can be farther from the truth.

Certainly, if you are planning to make a living exclusively out of your investment, you will probably need several thousand dollars to achieve that goal, however, the fact is that if you do not start investing you will never learn how to do it and profit from it, nor will you ever have the money to ultimately make a living out of it.

It is a mistake to wait until you have 100,000 or 50,000 to start thinking about ways to invest your money, because the fact is that one of the main components of any investment strategy is time.

Indeed, you will obviously need some capital and an investment strategy backed by your knowledge of the markets or reliable trading tools to help you ride them in a profitable way, but no matter the money you put upfront, your expertise or quality of your trading tools, you will always need time for every investment to mature and give you a return.

For instance, you may invest in the forex market by trading currencies. The return on your investment will be the result of the price movement within a given time frame, so you may open a long position in the EUR USD and hold it for two days for a gain of 3 If you repeat this process every two or three days, you could easily achieve returns of over 20 per month.

The same goes for investments within the stock market, which has its own set of peculiarities, but in the end works similarly in many ways and therefore, time is of the essence as well.

Having a lot of money is not as critical as starting as soon as you can with a consistent investment plan, as this will allow time to turn a small investment into a significant amount of money from which you can ultimately make a living from.

This plan can be laid out by you, based on your own knowledge of the markets, or you can simply use trading tools to help you execute a good one, based on reliable trading strategies that will ensure a consistent growth of your equity and keep you away from loss.

What is important to keep in mind is that making money through an investment is a goal you can achieve as long as you are well prepared to face the markets, and depending on your own style as an investor, you can choose to learn and device your own strategies, or you can simply use trading tools like software or signal services with the ability to help you perform like a pro.

To learn how you can start investing consistently and make money on a daily basis through a small investment read the information provided
